At the 60th FITCE Congress, the Research Studios Austria FG were able to connect to other industry leaders and discuss data spaces, infrastructure, the cloud and more.
The Research Studios Austria FG is proud to have been a part of the 60th FITCE Congress on 29 September 2021 in Vienna. FITCE is a European federation of ICT, Telecoms and Media experts. FITCE Members aim to enhance society through a greater, appropriate, and intelligent adoption of ICT – supporting partners in industry, academia, and the European Commission in the process. These goals also align with the values of the RSA FG and our pursuit to bring digital innovation from universities into markets. The Congress thus proved a great opportunity to connect with a likeminded community.
Markus Tauber, Chief Scientific Officer of the RSA FG, moderated a session focusing on the European Cloud. In this session, Horst Bratfisch from msg Plaut Austria GmbH discussed GAIA-X and the Austrian project Ö-Cloud, while Tobias Höllwarth from EuroCloud Austria presented the EuroCloud for a more international perspective.
Stefan Gindl, deputy head of the Research Studio Data Science of RSA FG, talked about Data Spaces and Infrastructure, with a special focus on the RSA FG project TRUSTS. TRUSTS aims to build a European trustworthy data market, and thus can help to support the efforts of #GAIA-X.
We are proud to have been a part of these interesting discussions and presentations and are looking forward to the next FITCE Congress.
