Alaa El-Ebshihy is a PhD researcher at the RSA FG. Her main research focuses on extracting information from scientific articles by identifying and representing knowledge delta in scientific literature. She has got her bachelor’s degree in 2014 in computer and system engineering from Alexandria University in Alexandria, Egypt, and her master’s degree in 2019 in computer science from the same university. She has 3 years of working experience as a teaching assistant in the department of computer engineering in Alexandria University, Egypt. She also has around 3 and half years of working experience as a software engineer. Concerning her research in natural language processing, she looks at methods to represent text to model the evolution of text, including scientific literature and documents of test collection used in Information Retrieval evaluation.
