PANORAMA uses and promotes cooperation between research institutes, companies, stakeholders and municipalities to identify innovative solutions in the field of energy efficiency, the use of renewable energies and cooperative actors within the framework of energy communities and to provide the best possible support in their implementation.
The increasing urgency of the energy transition, due to the climate crisis and the current political situation in Europe and worldwide, makes it necessary to increase the sustainable use of renewable energy sources at regional level.
There is still a need for research into the integration of solar energy, hydropower and wind energy in a regional and local context, particularly with regard to the integration of systems into the environment and the practical implementation of renewable energy communities (EEG) or similar forms of self-generated electricity.
The aim of the project is to pool and systematize know-how, taking into account the technical and economic feasibility and the best possible integration of the energy systems into the landscape. The following provinces and federal states are planned as pilot regions: Pordenone, Belluno and the province of Salzburg.
As a result of PANORAMA, extensive geographical and technical information layers will be created, into which the various competencies of the participating partners have been incorporated.
