Stefan Gindl is in communication with CIOs
The Confare CIO-Summit is Austria’s largest IT management forum. Every year the CIO Award is presented here in cooperation with EY and DIGBIZ LEADER.
Stefan Gindl from the Research Studio Data Science was on site and specifically followed how CIOs assess the potential of data-driven technologies and AI methods. The main focus was on what CIOs see as possible applications in these areas, which technologies are used the most, how strongly the benefits of data-driven applications have already been established in the minds of decision-makers, and in what direction we will be moving in the coming years.
“Data-driven economy is a central aspect in the presentations of the CIOs at the Confare CIO Summit and thus shows the great potential of such technologies. The Studio Data Science of the RSA FG has profound expertise in the scientific implementation of data science projects and is a central partner in national and international research projects dealing with trustworthy and secure data exchange (keyword data markets: Data Market, Trusts-Data, Safe-Deed). This background has been very well received by the personal contact with companies at the CIO Summit and has aroused great interest.”, said Stefan Gindl, Senior Researcher at the Research Studio Data Science, on his visit to the CIO Summit.
Data-driven technologies such as AI-driven software license management, data economics, and technologies for processing large amounts of data such as in-memory databases will further improve our work processes in the future and open up new perspectives. The Research Studios Austria Forschungsgesellschaft mbH, as the interface between research and the market, makes valuable contributions here as a pioneer for a data-driven economy and the transfer of innovations to the markets.
