Austausch von Naturbestandsdaten mit den neuen Normen ON A2260 und ON A 2261

The aim of the research project Data Exchange with Intelligent Geometries within the WSTW Innovation Fund is to develop a concept with prototypical validation/implementation of the data interface (natural inventory – A2261 new) with intelligent geometries also for 3D data based on GML for GI systems. GML (Geography Markup Language), allows the transmission of objects with attributes, relations and geometries in the area for GI systems, including non-conventional data such as sensor data. GML is compatible with all common GIS systems in the group.

Intelligent geometries are, simply explained, objects (points, lines, areas), which, in addition to their representation, also contain all relevant meta-information about their origin, accuracy, creation and suitability for use and can transport this information independently of the system.
