In view of the climate crisis, the Austrian mobility system faces complex
challenges: Increasing traffic, urban sprawl or consumption-oriented lifestyles
cause more and more climate-relevant gases. ULTIMOB is a broad
Research project within the framework of the ‘Mobility of the Future’ programme of the
Federal Ministry of Transport, Innovation and Technology. The title ‘ULTIMOB’ stands for
“Ultimate Integrated Mobility”. It is a matter of taking the mobility revolution forward,
to create necessary new mobility offers and to sensibly combine them with existing solutions
combination. One of ULTIMOB’s main objectives is to contribute to the
