Bot applications in the Web of Needs
The Web of Needs is a new paradigm of the Internet, which was founded by the RSA FG Research Studio Smart Applications Technologies. The first Web of Needs Hackathon – short WoN-Hackathon – will take place in the course “Hackathon: Cooperative Open Source Development with Web of Needs” from 9th to 10th and from 16th to 17th December 2019 at the TU Vienna. Location: Faculty of Computer Science at the TU Vienna, FAV Lecture Hall 3 Zemanek, Favoritenstraße 9-11, 1040 Vienna.
The course and the hackathon are led by Ao. Univ. Prof. Dr. Christian Huemer and DI Florian Kleedorfer from the Research Studio SAT of the RSA FG. The hackathon is based on a prototype of the Research Studio Smart Applications Technologies.
The participation is free of charge. Primary target groups are students of data science, computer science and business informatics. The participation of external parties, including data scientists from Viennese start-ups and other Viennese companies is explicitly desired!
This will be communicated in the Hackathon:
– RDF-Statements Understanding and writing valid RDF-Statements
– Make independent contributions to Open Source projects

– Create simple bot applications
For the winners, prizes and reputation await – and for everyone else, lots of know-how and networking!
