Michael Tockner has been working for RSA FG since 2013, first as authorized representative and from 2016 as authorized signatory. Since May 2021, he has been responsible for the areas of Finance, Controlling and Project Management as Commercial Director. In his role as Head of Research Management, he guarantees the professional handling of research projects in the Research Studios. Here, his focus is on process and quality management, as well as continuous improvement. Under his leadership, the RSA FG was the first non-university research institution in Austria to be certified by AQ Austria in December 2020 according to the quality management guidelines for universities.

Michael Tockner studied journalism and communication sciences in combination with political science at the University of Vienna. He completed his studies in process management with a focus on project, quality and general management at Danube University Krems. In his master thesis he dealt with the introduction of a process management for research companies based on a balanced scorecard system.

From 2008 to 2013 he worked at Competence Call Center in International Process Management, before that he worked there in Quality Optimization and Training. From 2002 to 2004 he was deputy project manager at Call World Telemarketing in Sankt Gallen.
